Tasting Notes

This wine represents a fully ripe expression of Cabernet Sauvignon from the Baloyan Estate in Valle de Guadalupe. It has very nice rich aromas of dark redberry jammy fruits, cherry, dark cherry, red licorice, cinnamon, spice, brown sugar. On the palate the wine has a very smooth texture. It is round and soft with rich tones at the edges, the tannins frame the wine very nicely. The wine has a nice acidity which keeps the wine in balance and also provides a nice framework. The flavors are rich, displaying ripe berry fruit, with hints of caramel and lightly smoky oak. The finish is long with medium tannins.
